Tensions rise as the grand tea party approaches, where Prince Kenneth must declare his engagement to Iris Eclipse or else risk his mother's safety. With the king under Penelope Eclipse's control (monitored closely by Theo himself), the Eclipses seem perilously close to seizing full control of Albion...

However, Anna and Kenneth have their own mission in mind. With Anna's help, Kenneth must recruit the members of the salon to support his overthrow of the throne. In order to persuade them in time for the party, Anna must become that which she's avoided all her life: an impeccable lady.
